SKINNER CATALOGUE:
An elaborate South Sea Island fish hook, consisting of a flat mother of pearl shaft, with a bunch of thin, flat, wavy strands of grass attached to the end as a bait and a vicious, sharp pointed, curved, mother of pearl hook, also attached to the end. From Kusaie, one of the Caroline Islands.
Length of shaft: 4 1/4" Length of bait: 3" Length of hook: 2 1/2". Cat. 7/22/1934.
