Description:
Original label: "British volunteer's flintlock pistol of the Revolutionary period. 10 1/8" octagonal steel barrel, 17/32" smooth bore. Black walnut curved handle and full length stock, one steel ramrod guide and 10 1/16" ramrod, engraved steel trigger guard. Pin muzzle sight only. Steel firing mechanism, engraved flat hammer, lock plate engraved with decorations and HOPKINS. Engraving on breech end of barrel and LONDON on top. Two British proof marks on barrel - V and BPC with crown and crossed lances. Complete and in good condition. Weight: 29 ozs."
