Description:
Original label: "British officer's flintlock pistol of the Revolutionary period. Half octagonal, half round, 8" brass barrel, 19/32" smooth bore. Black walnut curved handle and full length stock, two brass ramrod guides and 7 5/8" ramrod, engraved brass trigger guard. Steel firing mechanism, flat hammer, lock plate engraved with simple decoration and W&G CHANCE. Two British proof marks on barrel - V and BPC with crown and crossed lances. Complete and in good condition. Weight: 28 ozs."
