Description:
A German percussion cap pocket pistol. 3 1/16" octagonal barrel, smooth bore, center fire hammer, opening in the nipple on one side. Varnished black walnut curved butt. Marked on the top of the barrel 2 gr H.G.P. 17/72, somewhat worn, 6 gr Bl. German second proof mark of a U underneath a domed building marked on the right side of the barrel and the lock plate - 24 on the left.
