Original label: "Lefaucheux Civil War model revolver, using pin fire copper cases with conical bullets. Octagonal barrel. Round barrel. Rifled bore. Six chambers. Issued in large numbers to the cavalry. Good specimen of Belgian make. Marked: E. LEFAUCHEUX IIIr. BRETETE crowned G crowned L LEG in an oval 42337 (Serial No.). Weight: 2 lb, 2 oz."
