Description:
United States Springfield flintlock musket, model 1821, with 44 1/2" round barrel, 3/4" smooth bore. Walnut stock, full length to 3" from muzzle, three bands on barrel, no swivels, but swivel bracket on trigger guard. One sight. No bayonet. Flat hammer. 6 3/4" lock plate engraved "808 US SPRINGFIELD". S stamped on under side of butt. Complete except for ramrod and in fair condition.
