Description:
Five shot "automatic safety" revolver, .38 caliber, nickel plated steel with plastic handle grip. 3 1/4 inch barrel with external hammer. Engraved on the top of the barrel is "[I]Ver Johnson's Arms and Cycle Works, Fitchburg, Mass, USA". Engraved on bottom of butt is "Patent Nov... Pat's Pending". Owl decoration facing the grip on each side. Serial #H38720. Etched on right side: Property of Mount Holyoke College, South Hadley, Mass.
