Description:
Large powder horn, light colored at base gives way to darker color at mouth. Wooden base, nailed in, with two metal rings on either side of base. Cloth band wraps around neck below grooved and carved mouth. No stopper. Brass plaque reads: "Presented to Samuel T. (?) Lamb by James Green. Jan 25, 1847."
