Description:
A Lefaucheux revolver such as was used in large numbers by the Union cavalry in the Civil War. Steel throughout, with split walnut handle, and lanyard ring at the butt. Marked on the octagonal end of the barrel - on the left E. LEFAUCHEUX IIIr. BRETETE and on the right N under a crown. Numbered 33913. Marked on the chamber with the Belgian proof mark LEG in an oval and the superintendent's marks L under a crown and N under a crown. Complete, except for forward sight, and in good condition.
