Description:
British officer's flintlock pistol of the Revolutionary period. 10" octagonal steel barrel, 5/8" smooth bore. Curly walnut curved and flattened handle, full length stock, two brass ramrod guides and 8 3/16" ramrod, brass acorn tip engraved trigger guard. Steel firing mechanism, flat hammer, lock plate engraved J REA. On the barrel the London Gun Makers proof marks GP under a crown and V under a Crown, and also a proof mark IP.
Complete and in good condition.
