Description:
Iron cutting tool, with a semicircular blade fitted on a hinged handle. The blade sits in a concave groove, although it does not touch the bottom. Mounted on a convex platform with a leather strap at each end, possibly designed to tie onto something. There is a curved blade set at 90 degrees to the platform on one side; the opposite side is marked: "Patented June 2 1887."
