SKINNER CATALOGUE: A patented corn sheller, consisting of a round cast iron plate, with handle for turning, with rows of blunt teeth on the inside. There is a sort of funnel into which to feed the ear of corn, which, on coming into contact with the teeth of the plate, is stripped of the kernels. The whole is mounted on a board, which may be sat on while stripping the corn. Marked very faintly. Patd Oct. 7 1865. Diam. of disc 6 1/2". Cat. 5/7/1935.
