SKINNER CATALOGUE: An old tool for feeding the straw in a straw cutter, consisting of six square hand forged tapered spikes set in a piece of ash (rake fashion) and a turned maple handle set at an obtuse angle. Two hand forged eyes for a rope by which the tool could swing. Spikes 7" Head 13 1/4". Handle 9 1/2". Cat. 1/11/1935.
