SKINNER CATALOGUE: A sickle made from an old broken scythe blade, one end of which has been hand forged into a flat ring to receive the pine handle which has been rounded with a draw knife. Probably used for cutting undergrowth. Length of blade 15 3/4". Handle 13 7/8" x 1 7/16". Cat. 1/3/1935.
