In Line Ups, Gutierrez poses herself amidst a crowd of mannequins. Like much of Gutierrez’s work, these images seem to brim with the possibility of untold stories, making us wonder who and where these women are, and what has brought them together. Related to Gutierrez’s love of film, many of the photographs reference well-known actresses or scenes from movies.
