Description: vertical ōban size; yakusha-e
Label Text: This print is signed at lower-left in black "Kōgyo" and is accompanied by a red artist's seal, which reads "Yoshitoshi," a reference to the artist's stepfather and teacher, Tsukioka Yoshitoshi (1839–1892). The publisher's seal is at lower-left in the fan-like shape. This print comes from one of the many multi-volume sets of Noh prints made by Kōgyo during the early twentieth century. In 1905, Daikokuya Heikichi also published a series by Kōgyo of images of the Russo-Japanese War, entitled "Nichiro kōsen zue."
