Description:
Upper part (mouth) of a large vessel with two rounded "L" shaped handles formed of flat strips of clay. Lower parts attach to small neck, upper parts attach to the mouth, which flares out, then upward, to form a bowl shape. Much of the mouth has broken away, leaving irregular, jagged edges. The piece is formed of red ware with black specks of discoloration focused around the mouth. Might be formed of East Nile silt clay.
