Description: Exterior: Rim is banded in red paint which aslo encompasses the handle; the underside is reserved. In the handle zone of the cup is a band of individual zig zags. Below those are three narrow bands on the main body and a thicker band on the lower portion of the body. The foot is painted red; the underside is reserved with a pencil inscription reading: [A. Dewing. ...1933]. Interior: The interior of the cup has two bands of red paint near the rim and two near the bottom of the bowl.
