Description:
Painted pottery sherd of red terra cotta in a roughly trapezoidal shape; one edge is quite irregular. The top face is painted a very light brown color, and a black stripe runs through the center. Nearer to the irregular edge is a circular design consisting of a black circle surrounded by red dots and circumscribed by a black ring. On the other side of the stripe is a Lotus flower with five red, up-turned petals outlined in black, and a curved black stem. The back of the object is inscribed "Crocodilopolis" in pencil.
