Description:
A wooden doll or puppet (deku or mokugū) with a thin, translucent veil over the face, sitting next to a brocade satchel/money bag and paper "elder sister doll" (anesama ningyō). Two poems above by Kashōan (Hanasakian) Yonemori and Kandakyo. Signed Hokkei sha. Seal of collector Hayashi Tadamasa. Reproduction of an 1818 design with one different poetry verse.
