Description:
A still life of the costume of actor Ichikawa Danjūrō VII for the Shibaraku role, with an "eboshi" (head gear), "tachi" (long sword) and a fan. From a series of three still lifes symbolizing famous plays performed exclusively by the Ichikawa Clan of actors. A poem by Kitsujuen Sanae above. Signed Ōju Hokkei Ga.
