Description: The Wolf kachina, shown here with feather "ears" and a blue striped head, depicts painted eyes, a carved nose and pointed teeth, and a red mouth with a long tongue. His black fur neckpiece is seen above his yellow body, which is decorated with black and white dots. He wears blue armbands, brown straps across his chest, a black yarn bracelet, a black felt and red fur apron, and black yarn leg ties. His shoes are fringed, and he is portrayed as standing upon a wooden platform. This signals that he was sold for the tourist trade. In one hand is a painted gourd rattle, and in the other is a tuft of white feathers. AP2018
