SKINNER CATALOGUE: A very fine old rounded corner hand made band box. Made of very heavy cardboard, the outside covered with a scenic wall paper in greens and gray browns, the inside with wall paper of a conventionalized repeat design in green and grays. These band boxes were used in 19th century homes in which to store hats and bonnets. Depth 11 3/8" Diam. 16 1/4" x 13 1/2". Cat. 1/7/1937.
