Rectangular cardboard box, white with brown grain. Label inside is in Italian. Inside box is larger portion, and smaller divided portion. Inside smaller portion are two stockings (badly damaged - possibly nested in). Inside larger portion is a rounded piece of wood, a spool of thread with light brown thread, an empty envelope labeled "From Evans, Boston", and a scrap of paper, handwritten: "Piece of a bride's loaf in wartime. New..."
