SKINNER CATALOGUE: An old burl bowl in maple, shaped roughly oval by knife and gouge, with a crude handle, punched for hanging, at one end. Bottom not flattened. May have been used as a crude drinking cup. Marked with ink on the inside BAILEY. Length 8 3/4" Width 5 3/4" Depth 2 1/2". cat. 4/10/1935, 8/31/1936.
