SKINNER CATALOGUE: A burl bowl in ash, shaped with a gouge and draw knife, round, with 7/8 in. thickened rim, about one third of which, extending down onto the side, is outside of the burl. Used as a chopping bowl, as it shows numerous knife scars. Diam. 14 1/4" Depth 5". Cat. 12/8/1935
