Description: A vertical kabuki scene: a party of samurai, all dressed in black and red outfits with swords, goes through a red gate and enters the grounds of a residence; some of the samurai carry a norimono ("vehicle"); two samurai to the right raise their swords to attack a central figure dressed in grey and red kimono, bare feet; a white stonehouse with a "ama" mark in the background; to the right, a man in blue kimono bears a kid on his back and witnesses the scene.
