Description:
ca. late 19th or early 20th century plaster cast of a sculpture from the original Parian marble west pediment of the Temple of Zeus at Olympia dating to the Classical Period, ca. 470-457 BCE. This statue is the head of Apollo, the central figure adorning the west pediment of the Temple of Zeus at Olympia, sculpted in the severe style.
