Description:
London delft wine bottle, dated 1648, White-glazed spherical body with a tapering knopped neck, a loop handle with a pointed terminal, a slightly flaring foot, and inscribed on the front in blue "SACK i648" above an elaborate squiggle. 5⅞ in. h. Condition: The body with a large star crack across the base and up each side; and the handle, rim and foot with glaze losses.
