Description:
A brass spout lamp from Zanzibar. The reservoir is in the shape of a round vase, open at the top, and with three perforated ears (two of which are broken off) by which the lamp was probably suspended by chains. The spout protrudes from just above the center of the reservoir, out and up, is of small bore, and terminates in a griffin like head. The lamp resembles a teapot with no cover or handle.
