Description:
Child's single boot of black leather. No heel, the shoe fastens with four buttons on the outside. There is a CB seam, a CF seam, plus a vamp seam. The top is scallop-edged. The shoe is lined in a plain weave cotton, with the top lined in leather. Stamp of manufacture on sole: "HAMMOND & [illeg]/ Brooklyn, NY".
Belonged to H. Clark Mooney, who was born 1887.
