Description:
Site specific installation of L shaped scrim stretched above University Gallery entrance and stairway, parallel to angle of stairs, then back up at 90 degree angle, to corner where skylight meets wall.

Exhibition Label, 40 Years / 40 Artists, January 22–March 8, 2015:
“Natural Light Scrim Piece” was installed in the main entryway of the UMCA in 1976, and re-installed again from 2006 to 2010. It was included in the exhibition “Critical Perspectives in American Art,” which traveled that year to Italy to represent the U.S. at the Venice Biennale. - Loretta Yarlow
