Description:
A friction divination artifact in the form of a back-bending human. The rubbing stub rests on the figure's torso (front). The bent knees and elbows provide the support. This rare type is thought to depict a Chinese laborer in the form of their ceramic neckrests.

Label Text:
The basic form was copied from the ceramic neckrests used by Chinese laborers working on the construction of the railway Kongo to Ocean. In the vertical position, the rubbing bed depicts a Chinese on his knees with his hands behind his back.
