Description:
English lusterware mug with handle, covered overall with gold "copper" luster and decorated with white, red, pink, green and yellow enamels. The straight-sided, cylindrical mug has turned bands at upper rim area and at the base; attached scroll handle; sprigged band of flowers in yellow, white and red and leaves around the central portion of the mug; and a band around the rim with a stylized runing border of flowers and leaves in white and yellow enamels. There are thin bands of pink luster around the inner rim and outer base of the mug.
