Description:
The prisoner Petrov was a very strong and independent person. He tried to escape
from the labor camp several times. However, he was caught and severely punished.
But he never gave up and dreamed of running away again. Once he said to Dostoevsky: "You are such a loser, I feel sorry for you." This text is inscribed at the top and bottom of the black hole. In the upper part of the composition, hardworking inmates are depicted, and in the lower part, a Siberian (near Omsk) winter landscape.

Заключенный Петров был очень сильным и независимым человеком. Он несколько раз пытался сбежать из трудового лагеря. Однако его поймали и жестоко наказали. Но он никогда не сдавался и снова мечтал сбежать. Однажды он сказал Достоевскому: «Уж так вы просты, так просты, ... что даже жалость берет». Этот текст начертан вверху и внизу черной дыры. В верхней части композиции изображены трудолюбивые сокамерники, а в нижней - сибирский (близ Омска) зимний пейзаж.
