Description:
Visual description: This square watercolor depicts a young woman of Indian descent. The woman is depicted in profile, from the chest up, facing towards the left. Her hair is thick and brown, pulled into a large bun behind her head. Small curls escape the style at her ear and forehead. She wears a large gold dangling earring, in a vague triangular shape with rounded edges, with blue, red, and green designs and small white spheres hanging down from it. A small silver nose ring with a similar white sphere hangs from her septum. Her eyes are partially closed and she wears green eye-shadow, has thin, groomed eyebrows, and wears a small red bindi on her forehead. A green sleeve is visible on her arm, with pink and blue stripes, and she wears an orange saree pallu cloth draped over her shoulder. She is against a watercolor background of different shades of brown. (Naomi Meyers '27, Voice: Douglas Hall, April 17, 2025)
