Description:
Needle case or ‘Wickekind Etui" The infant with a flesh-colored face, brown eyes and eyebrows, rosy cheeks and a maroon mouth, wearing a turquoise bonnet with a ruched edge, a turquoise robe and white swaddling clothes patterned with iron-red sprigs and bound with turquoise bands, the lower end forming the screw-on cover with a threaded neck, the unglazed rim of the body and the bottom of the screw-on cover each marked 5. in black. Condition: Some wear to the glaze on the back and the cover; tiny chips on the rim of the étui; and the cover with minor repair to the threading.
