Description:
Longton Hall soft-paste porcelain u-shaped coffee cup with applied strap handle; porcelain body is very white, decorated with overglaze polychrome enamels, painted in thick translucent rose, green, yellow and blue enamels and thinner brown and black in Chinese style with the ‘Root and Peony’ pattern depicting a peony and other flowers and bamboo growing around a rock and a stylized fence, and affixed on the side with an S-scroll handle. Condition: Good. Collector's label for the "Tryborn Collection" and dealer's label "Roderick Jellicoe London"
