Description:
Longton Hall soft-paste porcelain figure molded in the shape of a ram with a woolly coat, his head with curly horns and turned to the left, and modeled standing above a tree stump support on an oval base applied with blossoms and leavese, these undecorated figures made by Longton Hall are the so-called "Snowman" figures. Condition: The figure slumped in the kiln; the horns and ears reattached; the right hind leg restored; and the leaves and footrim with some chips.
