Description:
Soft-paste porcelain medicine spoon shaped in an oval with a ribbed, shell-shaped tab handle, decorated with dark underglaze cobalt blue, transfer-printed decoration. Transfer-printed with a vignette from the ‘Full Nankin’ pattern depicting two sailboats near a tree, a pagoda and a cottage on a rocky island within a ‘Fitzhugh’-type border and ‘fish-roe’ band around the rim, unmarked.
