Description:
Soft-paste porcelain coffee cup with double scroll shaped handle, painted in shades of underglaze-blue around the exterior in the ‘Banana Tree’ pattern with a plantain tree, a lower shrub, stylized rocks and a pine tree behind a garden fence, the interior with a blue line around the rim. Dealer label for Roderick Jellicoe London on the bottom. Condition: Good, but some glaze flaws around the footrim.
