Description:
Circular soft-paste porcelain saucer with underglaze cobalt blue painted decoration, painted in pale underglaze-blue with a flowering peony plant and a chrysanthemum growing on either side of a tall scholar’s rock rising from two low pierced rocks below. Condition: Wear to the glaze in the center and on the rim edge; faint speckling; and the rim with two minuscule chips.
