Description:
White earthenware (whiteware) pap boat, shaped as a shallow oval bowl with one end pinched to form a spout, molded in two parts, there is a mold seam on the bottom, boat has slight lip on the opposite side to the spout, transfer printed in underglaze light blue, pattern has flowers (large cabbage rose, daisies), vase with flowers, and a bird on a branch. Condition: there are many spots of discoloration or staining in the interior, and a chip on back end. This pattern has not been located in the Transferware Collector's Club (TCC) database.
