Description:
Leather and paper rectangular case with small brass hook and latch closure, the interior is in chamois and is impressed with the shape of the lancet, the spring loaded lancet or brass automatic lancet has a flat, thin hollow brass body in a J shape, there is an iron trigger on the top of the lancet which moves on a clip hinge, an iron lancet point and cock within the brass housing itself, the lancet does not appear to be in working order, probably England, 1815-1825.
