Description:
Tin-glazed earthenware (delftware) plate, press molded with a scalloped, silver shaped rim; decorated in cobalt blue on the grayish-white tin-glaze with a chinoiserie design of a crane, altar, scroll, and peonies; and on the rim are similar scolls with trailing flowers and leaves, on the back of the plate, there are three underrim markings of trailing vines with a "Q" shaped marking in the center of the plate; attached dealer label for "Mark and Marjorie Allen Antiques" on base.
