Description:
Jellies and other gelatine based foods such as aspics are not very fashionable today. They seem artificial and usually take a great deal of time to prepare. In the past however, jellies and creams were often the crowning glories of the table. Octagonal-shaped jelly mold sits on three short peg feet, stepped levels, molded base has repeating border of three flutes with flaring rim, interior base has intaglio molded anchor and rope or "fouled" anchor design, smooth exterior, cream-colored earthenware (creamware). Condition: Good other than a minor chip on one foot.
