Description:
Cast bronze medal commemorating the battle of Verdun in original leather pouch, on which is stamped: "VERDUN" On the obverse of the medal is a young male soldier wearing a helment, clenching his fist and weilding his sword, above which is" ON NE PASSE PAS" and marked on proper right: "S.E./VERNIER" Given to Henry N. Flynt (1893-1970).
