Description:
Drawing of a leafy plant with flowering buds. To the lower left is a close-up of one of the blooms, with six petals. Entire drawing is contained by oval. "Menispermum canadense" (handwriting unclear, likely alternate spelling of title) is written on the lower center verso. The plant is native to Canada and the northern US, and tends to grow under forest trees.
