Description:
Elongated, flattened, oval shaped flask with applied round spout with beveled profile, flask is decorated with varying colors of dark brown and light brown slip, painted in red on the underside of the flask, "Col. Ithaca N.Y." and "77". Originally a part of the Burton N. Gates Collection. The original Gates notecard for this object reads, "Flask./ Col. Ithaca, N.Y. Stoneware: black and brown glaze."
