Description:
Ring flasks or bottles were hooked onto the saddle pommel when traveling and were used to contain water or something harder, depending on the rigors of the journey. Gray salt-glazed stoneware ring flask, with applied spout with beveled profile, sides of ring flask have been scraped down with a fettling tool, stamped into the side of the flask, "JACKSON N.H"
